Our Practice in Paragould

Dr. Button received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology. After graduation, he attended Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah, OK, and received his optometric physician degree in 2020. He then moved to Blytheville, Arkansas to join the team.

Professionally, Dr. Evan Button is a member of the American Optometric Association as well as the Arkansas Optometric Association. In 2021, Dr. Button completed the Arkansas Optometric LEAD program, which was designed for young doctors to become better leaders in their practice and community. He enjoys all aspects of optometry, including ocular disease management, contact lenses, and glasses.

Diabetes plays a large role in his passion for eye care. As a type 1 diabetic himself, Dr. Button will take the time to help patients get a better understanding of how diabetes affects the eyes. He is a passionate optometrist who serves the community by providing eye care services to his patients. He strives to give patients the best of care by having a good bedside manner during eye examinations.

Outside of the office, Evan enjoys being active, playing golf, and spending time with family and friends. He practices in Blytheville, Osceola, and Paragould. He and his wife, Dr. Jenny Button, and son, Rider, live in Blytheville.

Dr. Jenny Button was born and raised in Wichita, KS. She graduated from The University of Kansas in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in exercise science. She then attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, where she received her optometric physician degree and graduated cum laude in 2019.

Dr. Button completed a post-graduate residency program in family practice and ocular disease at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry in Tahlequah, OK. She spent time as a clinical supervisor for optometry students and worked at the optometry school and Cherokee Nation Health Services. During her residency, Dr. Button also completed and presented a clinical case poster at the Heart of America Eye Care Congress.

After practicing in Kansas for 2 years, she married our very own Dr. Evan Button and moved to Arkansas. Dr. Button enjoys many aspects of optometric care, including pediatrics and ocular disease management. She is certified in advanced procedures in Arkansas and performs anterior segment laser treatments and minor lesion removals. She also provides a wide variety of treatment options for dry eye syndrome and rosacea and is passionate about staying up-to-date on advancements in eye care technology.

Dr. Button enjoys spending time on the lake with family and friends, being outdoors, and watching Kansas Jayhawks basketball. She works in Blytheville, Osceola, and Paragould and resides in Blytheville with her husband, son, and 2 dogs.

Dr. Miller graduated from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Alabama with a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry. She then continued her education at Southern College of Optometry, in Memphis, earning her Optometric Doctorate in 2009, having received Third and Fourth year Outstanding Clinician awards and the Ocular Disease Excellence award.

Professionally, Dr. Miller is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Arkansas Optometric Association, where she serves as the Social Media Coordinator and also serves on the Membership Committee. She was selected to the American Optometric Association Leadership Institute 2.0 Class of 2023 and is an AOA “Gamer Doc” Liaison for the Eye Deserve More Campaign. Dr. Miller was honored as the 2014 Tennessee Young Optometrist of the Year and was the recipient of the 2022 Special Services Award from the Arkansas Optometric Association.

Dr. Miller lives in Brookland. In her spare time, Dr. Miller loves spending time with her family, her husband, Winston, and golden retriever, Nora, playing Switch, practicing yoga and listening to sci-fi audiobooks!
